prevent destitution of children and to facilitate their withdrawal
from a life on the streets and placement into the national
mainstream. |

provide integrated community based basic services for the
care, protection and development of street children facing
destitution, neglect, abuse and exploitation. Programs would
focus on reduction of exploitation and abuse and withdrawal
of children engaged in hazardous work. |

and exploitation, channels of love has taken up programs and
schemes to guarantee the basic human rights including survival,
development and full participation in social, cultural, educational
and other endeavours for their individual growth and well

indirectly impact the family and community attitudes and behavioral

indirectly ensure survival of the child particularly serving
as a disincentive for female foeticide and infanticide. |
